want to inform you that Jerri Haigler has accepted a new position with
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as the Executive Director for Parent University
and the Family and Community Services Department effective October 1. David
Rhew will serve as the interim Assistant to the President for Community
Relations, Marketing Services, and Public Affairs during the transition. David
will handle all media relations, serve as the spokesperson for the College, and
oversee crisis communications. David will also continue to serve as broadcast
general manager for CPCC Television. Mary Karriker, Director of Creative and
Art Services in Marketing, will coordinate with David and oversee the
day-to-day operations of the Marketing department. <br>
