is undergoing renovation to the front façade. The main front entrance near the <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Student</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Success</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
and the front entrance near the corner of <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address
w:st="on">Pease Lane</st1:address></st1:Street> and <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address
w:st="on">Elizabeth Avenue</st1:address></st1:Street> are closed. As a result,
the evacuations routes for the building have been changed and the new routes
have been posted in the building. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

prepared to safely leave the building if an emergency situation occurs. If you
are teaching a class in Central High, please review this information with your

look much as it did between 1924 and 1959 when it was <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Charlotte</st1:place></st1:City>’s premier high school, and
several maintenance issues will be corrected. The building may be entered at
the basement level from the rear and from <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address
w:st="on">Pease Lane</st1:address></st1:Street>, which is also equipped with a
handicapped lift to street level. An elevator is located inside the building at
the rear entrance. Stairwells are marked, as are exit routes. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
