From Human Resources

The current leave balances in WebAdvisor include leave taken through July and leave earned through August. Current month leave accruals are earned at the end of the month and cannot be used until the following month or later.

August full-time timesheets and leave reports are due in Human Resources no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010. Timesheets and leave reports should be scanned to the Human Resources email address or faxed to 6066 if it is not possible to have them dropped off in the Human Resources office by the deadline.

This morning, some of you may have received an email with the subject 'Dear subscriber' from the following address 'Help Desk <gamachej at carleton.edu<mailto:gamachej at carleton.edu>>'. This is a phishing<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing> email and was not sent by the College Help Desk. Please delete this email and do not reply to the sender. If you have responded to the sender, please change your password immediately. Please remember that CPCC Information Technology Services will *never* ask for your password.



Email and system security is a never ending battle. We close one loophole and criminals find another one. We recommend any suspicious messages always be forwarded to spam at cpcc.edu<mailto:spam at cpcc.edu> for analysis and corrective actions.
