Please recognize that our ability to meet identified needs is contingent upon the availability of resources (funds, personnel, and time). If needed, we will communicate with the respective individuals to establish accurate expectations. Requests received after these dates will need to be authorized by the Vice President for Learning and may be addressed if and when resources become available. To make a request, simply fill out the Setup Classroom Configuration web form at https://secure2.cpcc.edu/classroom. Be sure to incorporate requirements to operate the class for the entire semester. To review the list of the standard software that is presently included in each computer classroom, open computer lab or smart classroom, please visit http://www.cpcc.edu/its/faculty-staff/technology-enhanced-facilities/instructional-images . Examples of information to include are: * new or updated software, applications, compilers, etc. to be installed * acquisition of new course materials which require a particular plug-in or software installation * the need for a non-Windows XP operating system * the need for additional network storage * hardware upgrades or installations * specific server configurations * Software hosted by external vendors If you or your staff/faculty have questions or would like to consult with a specialist concerning any instructional technology needs or ideas, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 704-330-5000 or via email at helpdesk at cpcc.edu. Important: Windows XP and Office 2007 are current software standards at the college. In an effort to mitigate confusion and software conflicts, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2003 or Office 2010 products will be provided only if specifically asked for through this process.
