[Cpcommunicator] Executive Women's Golf Association scholarship opportunity
>From Shane Jeter
The Executive Women's Golf Association would like to invite applications
for a scholarship established by the EWGA Foundation. The "Women On
Par(r) " Scholarship Program is designed for women age of 30 and older
who want to commence or complete their undergraduate education and are
pursuing a technical/vocational degree, associate's, or bachelor's
degree.
Applicants need not be EWGA members nor play golf.
Information about the scholarship can be found on EWGA's website and the
following page:
http://www.ewga.com/learn_more_about_ewga/ewga_foundation/FDN_WOP/
Applications can be downloaded from the above web page; applications
close on the earlier of April 30 or the receipt of 200 completed
applications. Note that the "Frequently Asked Questions" page states
that knowledge of golf is not required.
The Charlotte EWGA chapter of 160 members is hopeful that area women,
including students at CPCC, will be interested in applying for the
scholarship.
