[Cpcommunicator] Open public hearing to discuss the state budget tonight

The Appropriations Committee of the North Carolina House of
Representatives will hold a public hearing tonight, April 28, to receive
comments about the state budget. The hearing will be held from 6-9 p.m.
at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh. 

 

CPCC is one of the ten community colleges across the state that will
host interactive broadcasts of the hearing. Committee members would like
to invite members of the public to offer suggestions and comments about
the budget. Each speaker will have three minutes to share information.

The broadcast will be held on Central Campus in the Richard Hagemeyer
Learning Resources Center, LR035 and will begin promptly at 6 p.m. State
Information Technology Services (ITS) has also provided the option of
viewing the hearing online via video streaming both during and after the
event.
