The World Affairs Council of Charlotte, together with the CPCC
International Business Program, have the pleasure of hosting Tim Weiner,
Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, National Book Award Winner (2007) and
author of "Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA" at an evening
presentation on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at CPCC's Tate Hall at 6:00
PM.
The presentation will be an eye-opening discussion of the successes and
failures of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in homeland security
and intelligence gathering during times of international crisis and
global conflict.
* Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2008
* Location: Tate Hall, in the Overcash Building on the CPCC
Central Campus
* Time: 6:00 PM
* Cost: $10 (WACC members and CPCC w/ students, faculty or
staff ID); $15 (non-members)
* Registration is required and payment must be received by
Monday, September 29th, 2008. Registration can be made online via
