The Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs office is proud to announce the
"Mini-FAFSA Day" initiative beginning Friday, November 7, 2008, through
April 24, 2009. 

 

The Mini-FAFSA Day program will provide an opportunity for students to
complete their federal financial aid forms online and submit them in
time to be considered for a variety of college financial aid programs
for the current 2008-2009 school year as well as upcoming 2009-2010
school year (Note: The 2009-2010 FAFSA is available online after January
1, 2009). 

The event will be held every Friday beginning Friday, November 7, 2008,
through April 24, 2009, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on
the Central Campus in the IT Building, Room 3137. 

Participants in the Mini-FAFSA Day are strongly encouraged to do the
following prior to attending this event:

1.  Bring student's and parents' federal 1040 tax forms for 2007 or 2008
(if applicable) to the Mini-FAFSA Day program. 

2.   Obtain a personal identification number (PIN) prior to FAFSA Day
from the Department of Education PIN web site, (http://www.pin.ed.gov/) 


3.   Complete as much of the 2008-2009 or 2009-2010 FAFSA or FAFSA on
the web worksheet as possible and bring it with you to the Mini-FAFSA
Day. 

Note: Don't worry if you don't know all the answers; experienced
financial aid staff will be on hand to assist you with the FAFSA at the
Mini-FAFSA Day.
