Internal Positions

 

Assistant to the Vice President for Learning, Position #3INSTAD-FEA-10.
REQ. #465. Assistant to the Vice President for Learning position
available in the Learning Unit located on Central Campus. This position
provides a high level of assistance to the Vice President for Learning,
including planning and implementing special projects and monitoring
projects to ensure compliance with College goals and objectives, SACS
requirements, and NCCCS regulations. The successful candidate will
possess knowledge of CPCC policies and procedures and CPCC academic
programs; demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
demonstrate supervisory skills; be proficient in computer usage, and
have ability to meet deadlines. The assistant to the Vice President for
Learning coordinates the management of information for the Learning
Unit; coordinates special projects, which may include SACS reporting,
the College catalog, FTE audit reports, faculty workload reports,
development of internal policies and procedures, review of programs of
study, the student opinion survey, faculty credentials. This position
serves as a liaison with other College units, committees, and task
forces; researches, prepares, and presents recommendations and detailed
reports to the vice president; prepares a variety of internal and
external correspondence for the vice president; confers with and
provides staff assistance and advice to senior level College staff. The
position requires a master's degree in education or a related field from
an accredited institution and minimum of four (4) years of community
college work experience. Closing Date:  Open until filled.
