[Cpcommunicator] Billy Spencer Memorial Jazz Concert 5/8 on Central

The annual Billy Spencer Memorial Jazz Concert will be on Thursday, May
8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Halton Theater.
The CPCC Jazz Band under the direction of Bill Hanna and the Charlotte
Jazz Orchestra will be performing. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and
$5.00 for students and seniors.
Billy was a gifted musician and devoted member of the CPCC Jazz Band.
CPCC students, faculty and staff were impressed not only with his talent
but also his perseverance while confronted with health challenges.
He died of kidney disease in 2003 at the age of 40.
