Administrative Clerk, Position #4TESTAS-FNC-4, REQ #301. This position
performs a limited number of basic clerical tasks which may include
greeting and directing callers and visitors, filing, typing, and
entering information into computer in support of department's daily
operations; greet and assist customers or patrons by answering
inquiries, providing information, or aiding in use of equipment; enter
information into computer system; may review entries for accuracy;
answer phone; may take message or refer call to appropriate person; may
provide basic information; arrange merchandise and straighten work/sales
area; send form letters, brochures, and other prepared correspondence as
instructed; perform various office tasks including typing, filing, and
opening and sorting mail. Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or
GED and six months of office experience. Closing Date: Sunday. April 6,

Director, ESS Budget, Position #4ENRLDN-FEA-4, REQ #298. This position
performs a variety of complex administrative tasks related specifically
to budget management of the Enrollment and Student Services (ESS) Unit.
Utilizes the administrative information system to perform budget
preparation, salary and other expenses analyses. Provides direct
oversight for grant budgets in ESS. Position also performs budget
management, tracking and reporting for the ESS Unit's annual budget
process. Reviews all budget submissions to ensure all expenditures are
in accordance with state, federal and county guidelines; monitors state
and county budget expenditures to assure all funds are fully utilized
during the fiscal year; performs financial analysis, providing
projections and assessments of financial trends and data. Processes
necessary transactions; assists the vice president in developing budgets
for the unit; coordinates assigned activities with ESS departments and
provides highly complex staff assistance to the Assistant to the Vice
President for ESS; provides information and responds to inquiries
concerning the budgets; advises departments on policies and procedures
relating to budgets and other financial issues. Minimum qualifications:
bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in
accounting, finance or business administration and four years of
increasingly responsible experience in developing and administering
accounting or financial work. Closing Date: Sunday, April 6, 2008.
