[Cpcommunicator] CMS book drive

CPCC, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the Public Library of Charlotte and
Mecklenburg County, and Communities in Schools are working together to
provide children in CMS Achievement Zone Schools with books. Studies
have shown how important books in the home can be to improving reading
skills and fostering a lifelong love of reading.
As a part of this effort, the public library has arranged for a Book
Fair with Barnes & Noble Bookstores April 21 through 27. A percentage of
the total purchases will be returned to the public library to purchase
books to distribute to CMS students before the end of the school year.
Purchases must be made with the voucher found online
