[Cpcommunicator] ADVISORY: Computer system upgrade 9/27-10/5
>From Jerri Haigler
Beginning Thursday, September 27, at 5:00 p.m., some CPCC computer
system services will be unavailable due to an upgrade to a new version
of the statewide system (Datatel). Please note that no services
requiring the use of the computer system, whether on campus, over the
phone, or self-service through the web (myCollege) or phone (CHRIS) will
be available during this time. The table below shows what services will
be available and unavailable for employees and students during the
transition period.
* All CPCC computer labs will still be open during this time for
students.
* The withdrawal deadline date for First Short Session (8-week)
classes has been moved back a day from September 28 to September 27.
The system will be available to faculty and staff on Friday, October 5,
at 8:00 a.m. Students will be able to use the system at 8:00 a.m. on
Monday, October 8.
As a result of the required system downtime, some departments may
experience a processing backlog when the system returns to normal
operation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please
take time to share this information with your students.
