Spring book adoptions:
It's that time already. Spring book adoptions have been sent out to
departments with a due date of October 15.
Textbook returns:
The bookstore has begun the text return process (with the exception of
second session and late starting classes). Please call the bookstore at
6649 with any questions or concerns.
Sale!
The Central Campus Majors Bookstore will be having a sidewalk sale
October 16 and 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in front of the
Professional Development Building. Many old edition and nonadopted text
at 99 cents. Clearance office supplies and clothing on sale as well. A
great chance to improve your reference library!
Looking for ways to save on textbook costs?
The single best way for students to save money on textbooks is through
buying used books. Your CPCC Bookstores buy text back everyday. In fact
we offer up to 50% back on your text after students are done with them!
The CPCC bookstores offer the most at buyback so that we can have the
largest selection of used books for our students next semester. Buyback
benefits the student who sells a book; the student who can then purchase
that book used, and even the environment through recycling! Keep the
cycle going...please encourage students to sell back books!
eBooks:
The CPCC bookstores have many of the most popular books available for
purchase as eBooks. eBooks are electronic versions of hard copy
textbooks available by download--at up to half the price of a new book!
eBooks are purchased in store at the cash register at which point a
password is then generated for the download. See store for details.
