The CPCC Financial Aid Office is proud to advertise the Jack Kent Cooke
Foundation Scholarship. Details regarding the scholarship are listed
below.

 

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program

 

--Annually awards approximately 50 scholarships worth up to $30,000 to
students and recent alumni from accredited community colleges
transferring to four-year colleges.

--Two students nominated annually from CPCC.

--Nominees must have at least a 3.5 GPA, have sophomore status by
December 31, 2007, or have graduated after May 2002 from an accredited
two-year college; and plan to enroll full-time in a four-year college in
fall 2008. The JKC Foundation seeks applicants with academic excellence
and unmet financial need, among other criteria.

--Campus deadlines vary, contact faculty representative or Student Life.
Applications must be submitted to the CPCC Financial Aid Office by
January 20, 2008. Please note this date is prior to the submission
deadline to the JKC Foundation of February 1, 2008. The earlier date
allows a CPCC faculty and staff committee to evaluate each application.
