[Cpcommunicator] Hispanic culture and Argentine food on Central 5/4

>From Diann Back

Let's tango!

Learn to prepare Argentine empanadas (meat pies) and mate (green tea) at
12:30 p.m. in LV 1218. While the empanadas cook, participate in a
discussion covering the cultural differences between American and
Hispanic students in higher education. The focus is on how to better
understand the Latino students' attitudes, behavior, and approach to
education.

Afterwards, a tango instructor will teach participants the basic steps
of this typical dance from Argentina (30 minutes). Then the empanadas
and mate will be served.
