[Cpcommunicator] ArtsFest film/video highlights 3/27-29

The Film/Video program will play an active role in next week's ArtsFest,
and you will not want to miss these great opportunities. The most
exciting event is "Film People" on Tuesday, March 27, in the Halton at
7:30 p.m.: 10 representatives from the Charlotte film scene, among them
Bert Hesse, Rick Eldridge, Beth Betty, Francis Shepherd, Dutch Stamey,
Barry Weitz, Scott Bauer, and George. M. Cochran, head of our own CPCC
program.
Other important events throughout the week:
* Tuesday, March 27--Halton Theater, 1:00 p.m., Cackalacky shows
the winners of the Cackalacky Film Festival; and in Tate Hall at 3:30
p.m., artist Charlie Arnold will talk about xerography.
* Wednesday, March 28--Bryant Hall, Sloan-Morgan, 6:00 p.m.,
Apple's Francis Shepherd addresses Apple Technology.
* Thursday, March 29--Bryant Hall, Sloan Morgan, 3:00 p.m., the
great CPCC Student Film Competition features fifteen of our finest CPCC
student films made under the guidance of George M. Cochran.
