The Instructor Dental Hygiene position is available in the Health
Sciences Division. The dental hygiene instructor conducts classes and
performs duties related to instruction; advises students with matters
outside the classroom; participates in activities which enhance the
college's service to students and the community. Teach classroom, lab,
and clinical courses. Baccalaureate degree, registered dental hygienist,
and a currently licensed dental hygienist in North Carolina, or a
dentist licensed to practice in North Carolina. Minimum four (4) years
clinical practice experience required. Candidate must have previous
teaching experience in an accredited dental hygiene program. Interest in
assuming a leadership role in the Dental Hygiene Program preferred.
Student copies of all transcripts are required with the CPCC application
for faculty positions. Originals of all college transcripts are required
at the date of hire. Closing Date: Saturday, June 16, 2007.
