Instructor Baking & Pastry Arts position is available in the Culinary

food service settings. The Baking and Pastry Arts two-year program

Division. The Dental Hygiene Instructor conducts classes and performs
duties related to instruction; advises students with matters outside the
classroom; participates in activities which enhance the college's
service to students and the community. Teach classroom, lab, and
clinical courses. Baccalaureate Degree and a currently license dental
hygienist in NC, or a dentist licensed to practice in North Carolina.
Minimum four (4) years clinical practice experience required. Candidate
must have previous teaching experience in an accredited dental hygiene

109. The Instructor Information Technology position is available in the
Information Technology Division. This full-time 10 month position starts
fall 2007. Responsibilities include teaching 18 credit hours per
semester, maintaining office hours, and academic advising. Preferred
qualifications include teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
Associate's Degree from an accredited institution in Information
Technology or a closely related discipline. Prefer Bachelor's Degree in
Information Technology or a closely related discipline, MCSA 2003, CCNA

Instructor Medical Assisting, Position # 3MEDAST-FEF-2, REQ. #155. The
Instructor Medical Assisting Instructor position is available in the
Health Sciences Division. The Medical Assisting Instructor position
conducts classes and performs duties related to instruction; advises
students with matters outside the classroom; participates in activities
which enhance the college's service to students and the community.
Teaches administrative and clinical courses in traditional and online
formats, and travel for clinical supervision. Associate's degree in a
health care discipline or diploma in Medical Assisting with minimum of
Associate Degree in a field which will complement program needs
required. Current CMA certification plus minimum of three (3) years
work experience in a physician's office or ambulatory care center.
Prefer minimum of two (2) years experience in clinical and/or classroom
instruction. Documented coursework (college courses, seminars, or
in-services) on topic such as learning theory, curriculum design, test
construction, teaching methodology, or assessment techniques preferred.

Instructor Welding, Position # 3WELDNG-FEF-6, REQ. #158.
The successful candidate for this position shall have, as a minimum, a
two year degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in
welding technology. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of
progressive experience working in the welding industry and have
"hands-on" knowledge in welding various metals using a variety of
welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, OFW, OFC, PAC, and should
have good blueprint reading skills. Documentation of current or past
certification in these welding processes is essential. AWS CWI/CWE
certification is a plus. The successful candidate should have strong
written and verbal communications skills, be PC literate, and enjoy
working with a diverse group of students. Prior experience in education
will be a definite plus. This position will require working a non
traditional schedule. The successful candidate will be located at Harper
Campus and will report to the Division Director, Applied Technologies.

Executive Director, Theatre, Position # 6PRARTP-FEA-1, REQ, ID # 162.
The Executive Director, Theater is responsible for the financials,
operation, marketing/sales and client management of the newly
constructed Dale Halton Theatre, Art Gallery, Recital Hall and Lawn in
the Overcash Academic Performing Arts Center Building (in addition to
Pease Auditorium, Pease Art Gallery, Bryant Recital Hall and Sloan Lobby
area). This position will create a stabilized performance, conference
and social bases of business which creates revenue to fulfill the
college's community service goals and financial return requirements.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and minimum of three
(3) years experience in theatre management. Three (3) to five (5) years
of progressively responsible administrative experience, of which one
year shall have been in theatre management. Closing Date: Sunday, June

Records Management Specialist, Position # 3CUSTSV-FNC-9, REQ, ID #150.
CPCC seeks an individual to serve as Records Management Specialist at
our Levine Campus. This Records Management Specialist position is
responsible for processing, calculating, validating and preserving the
documentation for Corporate and Continuing Education courses to satisfy
state auditing requirements. High School diploma or GED with two (2)
years of experience utilizing computer skills including Word and Excel
gained through courses or on the job training. Two (2) years of
full-time work experience (or equivalent in part-time experience in the
field to include record keeping, customer service or database
management. Knowledge of computers, desktop office applications and
mainframe and access or other database skills. Closing Date: Saturday,
