*Reissued* Information Systems Analyst II, Position #2DISTTC-FNC-6, REQ
ID #111. This is a mid-level position focusing on a variety of technical
work and analysis required for the development of user and systems
requirements. Performs routine to moderately complex tasks involving
designing, programming, testing, installation and maintenance of college
systems; primarily provides second-level support to users although not
limited from working at other levels of the support model as needed;
designs, installs programming, troubleshoots and maintains user's
hardware and software; responds to inquiries and requests from users for
assistance with the college's computer systems or personal computers;
identifies problems, troubleshoots and provides solutions to assist
users. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Associate's degree in computer science
or a closely related field of study from an accredited institution; and
a minimum of two (2) years of full-time related work experience (or the
equivalent in part-time experience); or 2. A combination of completed
college-level coursework (at least 30 hours) from an accredited
university and experience as a substitute for the degree. Closing Date:

Systems Architect is a senior level position for a knowledge
professional focusing in the functional areas of programming and systems
analysis as needed by the Information Technology Services Department in
delivering service and support to clients. Under general direction,
responsible for designing software architecture for enterprise
applications; defines system and application architecture and provides
vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to the
development team; performs application and database design work;
determines system configuration and sizing requirements which address
server, network and client considerations; leads project efforts for
tool evaluations and prototype solutions; suggests testing approaches;
conducts performance benchmarks; works with the development team in
refining the solution architecture; interfaces with the development team
in resolving functional and technical issues as the systems are
developed. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in computer
science, information technology or closely related field from an
accredited institution and a minimum of four (4) years of full-time
related work experience and certification directly relating to designing
system and application architecture (or the equivalent in part-time
experience). Closing Date: Monday, August 6, 2007.
