[Cpcommunicator] Position open for Director of Operations, Academic and Performing Arts Center

Director of Operations, #6PRARTP-FEA-2, REQ ID #186. CPCC seeks
candidate for the position of Director of Operations at the new Academic
and Performing Arts Center located on Central Campus. This person
manages day-to-day operation of the performance and rental spaces on
Central Campus, including the Halton Theater (a 1020-seat, multi-purpose
venue featuring world-class acoustics); the 132-seat Tate Recital Hall
in the Academic and Performing Arts Center; 475-seat Pease Auditorium;
and 98-seat Bryant Recital Hall in the Sloan-Morgan Building. The
Director of Operations runs the Box Office and front-of-the-house
operations, concessions (including training, budget and vendor
management), prepares and maintains audience database for direct
mailings and fundraising initiative, manages the development and
maintenance of the web page, manages general implementation of rental
request and coordinates with other departments to ensure client's
requirements are met. Bachelor's degree with one (1) to two (2) years of
directly-related management experience; experience in theatre,
computerized ticketing and concessions operations; experience with
face-to-face customer service, excellent verbal and writing skills;
proficiency with computer systems and office software including
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Front Page. Closing Date: Friday,
