Instructor HVAC, Position #3HVACIN-FEF-1, REQ. ID #172. The instructor
HVAC position is available in the Applied Technology Division located on
Harper Campus. The successful candidate for this position should have a
minimum two (2) year degree (preferably four (4) year degree) from an
accredited institution in either HVAC or mechanical engineering. The
candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years of progressive
experience working in the industry and knowledge of servicing,
troubleshooting, and the installation of residential and light
commercial HVAC systems. An understanding of control systems as well as
working knowledge of industrial HVAC systems is a plus. The successful
candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be
PC literate, and enjoy working with a diverse group of students. Prior
experience in education will be a definite plus. The selected candidate
will be expected to teach 18 hours of classes a semester; possible
classes could include air conditioning, basic refrigeration, heating,
blueprint reading, mechanical codes, and load calculations. Unofficial
student copies of all transcripts are required with the CPCC application
for faculty positions. Originals of all college transcripts are required
at the date of hire. Closing Date: Tuesday, July 24, 2007.
Internal Position(s)
Instructional Lab Facilitator, Position #3ADLTBE-FNC-1. The
instructional lab facilitator position is available in the Community
Development Division. Campus location to be determined. The
instructional lab facilitator position plans and coordinates laboratory
activities to support instructional programs and provide tutorial
services to students. Associate's degree and two (2) years of
experience. Ability to work evenings and the ability to travel to other
CPCC campuses. Unofficial student copies of all transcripts are
required. Originals of all college transcripts are required at the date
of hire. Closing Date: Thursday, July 19, 2007.
