Instructor Sociology, Position #3BEHSOC-FEF-4, REQ. ID#169. The
Sociology Instructor position is available in the Behavioral and Social
Sciences Division. This is a 10-month position. Sociology Instructors
teach a total of 18 hours in two (2) or more of the following courses:
Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of the Family, and Social
Diversity. This position is based on Central Campus, but instructors
frequently teach on two (2) campuses or on one (1) campus and online.
Requires expertise in teaching plus a master's degree from an accredited
institution with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in sociology.
Experience with community college teaching and online is a plus. Must
have good writing skills and the ability to teach writing intensive
courses. Student copies of all transcripts are required with the CPCC
application for faculty positions. Originals of all college transcripts
are required at the date of hire. Closing Date: Monday, July 9, 2007. 

 

Program Coordinator, Position #3CONSTR-FEP-2, REQ. ID #165.  The Program
Coordinator position is available in Construction Technology located on
Harper Campus, Construction Institute). The Program Coordinator position
(Construction Institute) will plan, organize and direct the
instructional and administrative activities of the Construction
Institute; provide departmental leadership that will ensure a quality
instructional process; provide highly responsible instructional and
administrative staff support to the division director and coordinate
assigned activities with other college divisions. Bachelor's degree from
an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of full-time
construction and/or administrative work experience (or equivalent in
part-time experience).  Closing Date: Monday, July 9, 2007. 

 

Instructor Adult High School #3ADLHSI-FEF-2, REQ. ID #177. (internal
only)  The Adult High School Instructor position is available in
Community Development, located on Central Campus. This is a 10-month
position. The Adult High School Instructor position will conduct classes
and perform duties related to instruction, advise students, and
participate in activities which enhance the college services to the
students and community. Candidate should have the ability to teach a
diverse group of students and offer instruction in the core subject
areas. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree and previous teaching
experience is preferred. Student copies of all transcripts are required
with the CPCC application for faculty positions. Originals of all
college transcripts are required at the date of hire. Closing Date:
