[Cpcommunicator] ADVISORY: Completing I-9 forms for PT hires

Effective January 1, 2007, all new part-time hires must have their I-9
completed by an HR staff member on or before their first day of
employment.
This was announced via a global email distributed on Tuesday January 2.
The State of North Carolina has mandated the use of the Basic Pilot
program, which requires that the I-9 information be verified on or
before the first day of employment.
The Human Resource office on Central Campus is open from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the HR Express office hours for the
other campuses are available online at

If you have any questions regarding the completion of an I-9 form for
part-time employees, please contact Sheila Clemons or Schnell DuBose in
Human Resources.
