Rigging Seminar at CPCC
When: January 20, 2007
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Central Campus, Overcash 340
Conducted by Delbert Hall, a nationally recognized rigger in the
entertainment industry. Dr. Hall has done a number of productions in
this area over the years, ranging from Angels in America at Charlotte
Rep to The Wizard of Oz at CPCC to Peter Pan at Matthews Playhouse.
The seminar is available to CPCC faculty, staff, and students free of
charge pending appropriate identification.
$85.00 for non-CPCC participants.
Delbert states:
"This seminar will provide participants with a comprehensive review of
rigging equipment and practices used in the theatre industry. It is
intended for experienced stage riggers, installers, or general stage
technicians who wish to 'brush-up' their rigging knowledge and skills.
This seminar will cover much of the body of knowledge related to stage
rigging."
