Information Systems Analyst II; Position #2DISTTC-FNC-6. This is a
mid-level position focusing on a variety of technical work and analysis
required for the development of user and systems requirements. Performs
routine to moderately complex tasks involving designing, programming,
testing, installation and maintenance of college systems; primarily
provides second-level support to users although not limited from working
at other levels of the support model as needed; tasks may involve
designing, installing, programming, troubleshooting and maintaining
user's hardware and software; responds to inquiries and requests from
users for assistance with the college's computer systems or personal
computers. Minimum qualifications: associate's degree in computer
science or a closely related field of study from an accredited
institution; and a minimum of two (2) years of full-time related work
experience (or the equivalent in part-time experience); or a combination
of completed college-level coursework (at least 30 hours) from an
accredited unversity and experience as a substitute for the degree.

Environmental Safety Specialist; Position #2HEALTH-FEP-2. This position
will perform monthly laboratory safety inspections to identify hazards,
generate corrective actions and follow-up on recommendations; monitor
underground storage tank use, permitting, and when applicable, remedial
soil contamination operations; coordinate proper disposal of universal,
medical and hazardous waste per federal, state and local regulations;
coordinate and monitor industrial hygiene activities such as water, air
and material of unknown properties sampling; maintain chemical
inventories for various departments on all campuses (update as needed);
secure and monitor material safety data sheets for all chemicals using
internal and external resources; manage master file for material safety
data sheets for all campuses; give technical guidance relative to
material safety data sheets interpretation. Minimum qualifications:
bachelor of chemistry, occupational health and safety, or industrial
hygiene from an accredited institution, and three years of full-time
experience (or the equivalent in part-time experience) in hazard waste
management compliance; material safety data sheet monitoring and
evaluating chemical physical properties or experience in a closely
related field of work. Closing Date: Monday, April 30, 2007.
