Because Central Piedmont Community College is committed to the quest for
continuous improvement of quality programs and services, the Innovation
Grant Program is made available to assist programs/units with the
creation of innovative programs or services and to facilitate
improvement, change, or growth within instructional, administrative, and
student service units.

 

Applicants may ask for up to $2,000 per award.  Applications are
available online through the Professional Development website.  The next
deadline for proposals is December 17, 2003.  

 

Proposals with required signatures and budget projections can be
submitted to Diann Back, Center for Leadership and Staff Development.
Electronic submission is available. Please call 6351 for additional
information.

 

Recent funded Innovation Grant proposals include:

> Wall of Stars at North Campus, a retention initiative

> ABE/GED classes at the homeless shelter, a literacy program

> Charlotte Cooks, video segments on hospitality education

> Dental Hygiene Services for Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center, student
and community-focused activity
