New CAPS fee for spring semester

The new CAPS (Campus Access Parking & Security) fee has been installed
into the Mainframe systems, web, and telephone registration. The new fee
will charge curriculum students taking on-campus and virtual classes a
fee of $30 for 8 hours or less, $50 for more than 8 hours, $2.00 per
class will be charged for Continuing Education classes. Only classes
that meet on-campus and virtual campus classes are counted for hours.
All CAPS fees have a maximum of $50 per term. For more information on

Email messages replace mailings to students

Starting in spring semester 2004 CPCC will be sending College
correspondence to students' e-mail accounts instead of mailing them all
out. Students during registration for spring and following terms will be
asked if they still prefer to have it send by U.S. mail. Based on their
stored response, CPCC will send out notices such as (grades posted
notices, appointment messages, other important notices) based on their


By default, CPCC will send out by email unless the student indicates
otherwise. Email messages will be faster, less expensive.  All students
receive an email account at CPCC and can choose to forward messages to
their own email accounts by putting in their personal email accounts at:

and select Update my Personal information.
