Time Sheets which are not picked up by 4:00 p.m. today will be put in campus mail. If a department wishes to pick up the time sheets on Monday rather than today, then the department must notify Schnell DuBose (via email) no later than 4:00 p.m. today. The August time sheets will be due in Human Resources no later than September 3. Time sheets are now generated exclusively from the Datatel or Colleague system. The legacy three-digit payroll distribution code is not a data field in the Colleague program. Therefore, Human Resources must now distribute Time Sheets by DEPARTMENT, which is a data field in Colleague. HR is aware that this will be a significant change for CPCC employees and requests the cooperation of each department in adapting to the changes in distribution methods that are necessitated by the Colleague software. Each department will receive a set of instructional materials for the new time sheets. The department is responsible for sending at least one person to a Time Sheet Training session and this person is responsible for making sure that the department's time sheets are completed correctly. Time sheets that are not completed correctly will be returned to the department for revision or correction. Employees may use Learner Web to register for one of the remaining Time Sheet Training sessions: Wednesday, August 6 - Southwest Campus - 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12 - Northeast Campus - 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14 - Levine Campus - 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20 - North Campus - 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thank you for your patience as we work through the time sheet changes required by Colleague. --Fran Lilly -------------- This message did not originate from the Office of Community Relations. It is the second leading cause of cancer death of men and the number one cause of death in African-American men. Occupational Health and Safety is offering a simple blood test that can check the level of the prostate specific antigen (PSA) in a man's system. The level of this protein can increase as a result of prostate cancer. This simple blood test screening will be offered at Central Campus Administrative Support Center Room 221, located at the corner of Seventh and McDowell Streets, on Wednesday, September 10, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. CPCC's State of N.C. Teachers' and Employees' Medical Insurance is accepted and will be filed for you. Enjoy plenty of free parking at the ASC building and the privacy of having the results sent directly to you and/or your physician. This screening includes all blood work, laboratory work, and physician's interpretation of results. General information and literature will also be available. This screening is open to all men, but particularly all men 50 years of age and older, all men with a family history, and all African American men 40 years of age and older. This screening is also available to spouses, retirees, students, etc. depending upon insurance. Sometimes complete content is not copied. A workaround to this problem is for instructors to use batch copy feature available at https://secure.cpcc.edu/courseadmin/Default.aspx web site even if the number of classes to be copied is less than three (3). Please use this option until Blackboard technical support fixes the problem with 'course copy'. Instructors and their departments may decide to combine course sections at the start of semester. We highly recommend that this only be done early in the semester before student work is associated with a course. After a Combine Course Sections request is processed and your combined course shell becomes available, you will need to make the old section shells unavailable from within Blackboard. Failure to do so will have the students confused as they'll be looking at multiple sections. Thank you for your assistance and understanding. --Malik Rahman -------------- This message did not originate from the Office of Community Relations. Re: That movie Re: Wicked screensaver Re: Your application Re: Thank you! Re: Your details Though our risk of getting infected is low due to various virus prevention measures we have in place, the spoof portion causes the bounces to be returned to people on campus who are starting to get a little baffled. We have stopped two attacks so far (blocking ~2000 messages from infected hosts since 10:30AM this morning.) Given the fact that this is spreading quickly, faculty and staff should be cautious of all mail received and expect to have large numbers of bounced messages as new attacks manifest themselves. There is no reason to panic. Please do not open attachments unless you are expecting them. Also, do not execute software that is downloaded from the Internet unless it has been scanned for viruses. It is the second leading cause of cancer death of men and the number one cause of death in African-American men. This simple blood test screening will be offered at Central Campus Administrative Support Center Room 221, located at the corner of Seventh and McDowell Streets, on Wednesday, September 10, from 10:00 a.m.
