Originally, the event was to be shuttled; however, the College was made aware later on that many visitors were using our student parking spaces. To respond to the demand, additional spaces were acquired for Tuesday only at the old Burger King Restaurant lot on Elizabeth Avenue, at Fourth and Hawthorne, and at Park Drive and Hawthorne. Please note that these lots will not be open for student parking in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused on Tuesday. Ongoing, parking on Central Campus should be easier. Student Parking Deck 1 and Parking Deck 2 (corner of Charlottetowne Avenue and Fourth Street) are available for students on Central Campus. In addition, seven surface lots on Central Campus are available for parking. An overflow lot is available the first two weeks of classes only at the corner of Elizabeth Avenue and Torrence Street. Only the gravel lot should be used. Students parking on other non-CPCC lots are subject to be towed by the owners of those lots. Your photo ID is required for many of the services at the College including the Library, Academic Learning Center, and Testing Center. If you already have an ID, you can pick up a validation sticker at the Cashier's Office and Registration Services at any CPCC campus. Also, be sure to pick up your parking decal. After your tuition and Computer Access, Parking, and Security (CAPS) fees are paid, you can obtain a parking decal from the Cashier's Office or the Security Office/booth at any campus. All CPCC students must have a parking decal by the third week of classes (September 4) to avoid ticketing. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... CPCC Student Update Parking Information The first week of a new semester always brings parking challenges with the influx of new students coming to classes or to complete registrations. Demand has leveled off and parking is now easier to find at all campuses. Parking enforcement will begin Tuesday, September 4, at all campuses. Enforcement focuses on having a parking decal appropriately displayed and parking in designated parking areas. After your tuition and Campus Access, Parking, and Security (CAPS) fees are paid, you can obtain a parking decal from the Cashier's Office or the Security Office/booth at any campus. On Central Campus, Lot 11 at the northeast corner of Elizabeth Avenue and Torrence Street will continue in use through September 7. After that date, this area will no longer be available to CPCC students; violators will be towed. Please be sure to park only in the College's designated lots at Central Campus. Parking on nearby private properties or in violation of signage posted on the streets may result in being ticketed, wheel-locked, and/or towed. Don't Forget To Obtain Your SNAP Account (CPCC User ID) All CPCC students need to have a Single Network Access Pass (SNAP - CPCC User ID). This is the College's official communication channel with students. This gives you access to secure online services from the College such as online registration, email, and online courses. To create your SNAP account, log on to the website at http://snap.cpcc.edu. If you do not know your Student ID number, you can obtain it from the SNAP application. Student Refunds Scheduled for September 10 Refunds will be going out from the College on September 10. It is important to notify the College of any address changes. If your address has changed, you should submit an address change request to Student Records at any CPCC campus.
